info overload

my  mind is reeling with all of the info on breast cancer I have been looking at on the web.  I've found quite a few good forums, community groups and survivor websites that I hope to make contact with throughout this journey.  Today we had a visit from one of Lloyd's co-workers from construction whose wife passed away just before Christmas from breast cancer - a 7 year survivor but it spread to her liver.  It was as if destiny brought us together.  He didn't know I had breast cancer and we only found out just before my diagnosis that his wife died - we didn't even know she had cancer.  We hadn't seen him for several years and I remember when I found out I said to Lloyd:  I wish I could talk to Ed.  Then Wednesday he placed an order for candles and came to pick them up today.  We had a long talk and he asked me to keep him updated on my progress and made himself available for anything we might need.  Such a nice guy and my heart goes out to him and his family for their loss.  The main thing he wanted to tell me was that a positive attitude is better than any medicine and I have heard that over and over again.  So here's to a positive attitude!
