I met with Carol Blair from Natur-Tyme yesterday and it was an eye opener for sure! So many things have been proven to cause cancer and so many of those things I have in my fridge or on my counter...for example, the simvastatin drug I'm taking to lower my cholesterol, causes cancer. And my low level of vitamin d can cause cancer to grow. The artificial sweeteners in my coffee, soda, and even the bottled water I drink DAILY! So, I'm taking D-3, and stopping my simvastatin, which I had already stopped it a week ago since my doctor was trying to wean me off of it anyway. So two steps toward good health taken. Also, I've cut out coffee and instead I'm drinking green tea. I've cut out sugar and instead I'm using stevia. No sugar, no white flour, no white rice, no dairy, no meat for a month to completely detox my body. Then I may or may not become a vegan or vegetarian. I could very easily go without meat as I love fruit and veggies but I really need to learn how to make different meals that taste good and can satisfy my hunger, not to mention provide all the nutrients I need to fight cancer. Carol has put together a list of starters like magnesium, trace mins, a probiotic, fish oil, vitamins C, E and B-12 and plant protein. but I can only have a few of these before surgery only until Friday as I have to be off of any type of herb or vitamin 7 days prior to surgery. So my new way of life will start AFTER surgery.
Today, I did my first ever yoga routine. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. I decided on Gentle Yoga for Cancer Patients by Doris Felder. A good choice for sure! I'm actually looking forward to doing it again tomorrow!
This is going to be quite a journey and one that I am sure I will stick with for life.....literally :O)
Well, I have to say that given my belief system that there are NO accidents and to quote one of my favorites, Al Einstein "Coincidence is God's way of staying anonymous", part of my practice is to see ALL experiences and lessons that are ultimately blessings, it's all a matter of perception. One thought can change ANY paradigm or belief system entirely.

how wonderful to have found you through Country Light so that we can share our journeys together. I truly believe that everything that has happened to me over the past 10 years since I've lost my job and started my company has led me to this place for a reason - to meet strong, courageous, and caring women like yourself. I am certain that I can turn this negative into a positive and it's encouragement and blessings from friends like you that make it so. Thank you my dear xoxoxox
